Notes: Came back with a day and a bit's food, because we bailed out at numa, so had two days snacks and a dinner and breakfast left. Natrual High beef stroganoff is really damn good, and would probably be even better with a couple teaspoons of smuggled hungarian paprika chucked in to make it it into a goulasch type thing :) - must try that next time. Generally warm and comfortable in spite of rainy conditions. everything held up well except for some hammock repair needed where I popped a velcro strip seam. Art had some trouble with blistering (newish boots) but not me. bush was wet however, and I chose to leave gaiters at home. probably should have taken them, although I was fine without (if a little wet). Nothing I didn't mind too bad, and feet would dry out nicely at night in the hammock in the sleeping socks. I'd have probably continued to Floe, but it was very socked in and Art wasn't feeling good and was blistering up, in the end, with the T storms threatening bailing was a perfectly fine decision, we probably wouldn't have seen much up high because it was so socked in. I'm astonished that some people can carry full glass jars of jam and peanut butter in their 85 litre packs on the same hike, yet not have a tarp to put up to sit under when it rains. Oh well, to each their own..
